The creative workshop highlights the cashmere leaf, a design icon for over a century. With Romane, the porcelain brand overturns the codes of classical designs, presenting the tableware in a bright palette of orange and gray. Haviland pays special attention to details: within each cashmere flower hides a lush jungle.

More than nine plant species elegantly unfold on each piece, preserving the purity of the design. Cashmere leaves intertwine with philodendron, banana, palm, phoenix, strelitzia, ginkgo, and vine leaves, embracing the extra-white Limoges porcelain.

The collection begins with a detailed appetizer plate, adorned with a grand design. Thirty-two centimeters of creativity and hundreds of hours of craftsmanship have brought these art pieces to life. The dessert plate reveals a hippie flower at the center, where cashmere leaves and vegetation combine with a platinum frieze.

The porcelain workshop also imagines a tea and coffee set in orange or gray, with a gray teapot adorned with a crown of leaves. Romane is available in a full range of serving dishes. The Limoges factory emphasizes pure white porcelain with white satin-engraved albizia leaves.

In 1842, David Haviland made Limoges, the world capital of porcelain, a cradle of art without limit. He began to write the story of the Haviland family, a name synonymous with the art of French luxury. David Haviland, a trader, created an import company of ceramics and porcelain in 1838 in New York.
David Haviland was always eager to push the limits of know-how. He perfected decorative techniques, and equipped his manufacturer with revolutionary machines. In 1864, Haviland became the most important French porcelain manufacturer.
Since then, the Manufacturer has continued successfully to reinvent the soul of the material by transmitting an ancestral knowhow in Limoges. The craftsmen have managed to preserve, transmit and keep their craft alive by combining tradition and modernity.
