Karelian birch is a durable material with an amazingly bright pattern. Growing in the north in a harsh climate, Karelian birch trees grow low, with characteristic burl thickenings, the wood of which contains a patterned texture. The valuable and beautiful tree is traditionally used for decorative purposes. To give the desired shape, square birch bars are turned by hand. After a strict selection of impeccable quality parts, they proceed to further processing – drying and sealing with varnish using a special technology, which makes the material waterproof and durable. The glossy surface emphasizes the unique individual pattern of each product.
