This collection is the union of two mythical French brands with unique know-how. Each in its own field radiates French excellence internationally. For the occasion, S.T. Dupont and the 24 Hours of Le Mans have developed four different ranges, including a special leather goods range. The Slim 7 with its powerful and weather-resistant torch flame allows you to light whatever you want, wherever you are. Its lightness and thinness give it a perfect grip. The Slim 7 collection is available in three colors with a design evoking the spirit of cars and sports. Rich heritage and adherence to tradition – an important part of every stage of product creation.
In 1872, a 25-year old determined and passionate man from Savoy, France named Simon Tissot-Dupont started a leather goods workshop. He recruited fine craftsmen and artisans who started to manufacture leather goods like wallets and attaché-cases called “maroquins”. Soon he became the official supplier to the Magasins du Louvre, which was a reference to luxury at the time.
The master craftsmen work on the most noble of materials: crocodile skin, gold and silver, ivory, and tortoiseshell. S.T. Dupont becomes supplier to the establishment: kings, emperors, maharajahs, ambassadors, and bankers are its clients.
Since then, Dupont went on to produce lighters, pens, wallets, watches and became a leader in high quality leather goods and accessories.
