In this work, sculptor Petro Ozyumenko has combined key concepts of Christian tradition and philosophical contemplation of existence: the creation of the world, the resurrection of Christ the Savior, the altar of the New Testament, victory over death, the Second Coming and Judgment Day, the beginning of a new life, alpha and omega.  <\/p>\n<p>This composition is not just an artistic object but a years-long journey of searching for meaning and form, a profound rethinking of spiritual traditions through the lens of contemporary art.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>The main idea of the work<\/strong> is the movement and evolution of Orthodox culture, its progression into the future, toward new horizons, toward the stars. &#8220;Cross&#8221; resembles a burst of light breaking through the darkness, dispersing the clouds of doubt and everyday routine.
