Dupont engineers did not miss the chance to reference the world of cars as this choice of fibre is inspired by race car interiors. Three colours are also printed on the inside of the calfskin leather wallets with a gold or chrome 24 Hours of Le Mans logo depending on the colour. – 6 card slots, – 1 flat compartment for banknotes, – 2 compartments for receipts

In 1872, a 25-year old determined and passionate man from Savoy, France named Simon Tissot-Dupont started a leather goods workshop. He recruited fine craftsmen and artisans who started to manufacture leather goods like wallets and attaché-cases called “maroquins”. Soon he became the official supplier to the Magasins du Louvre, which was a reference to luxury at the time.
The master craftsmen work on the most noble of materials: crocodile skin, gold and silver, ivory, and tortoiseshell. S.T. Dupont becomes supplier to the establishment: kings, emperors, maharajahs, ambassadors, and bankers are its clients.
Since then, Dupont went on to produce lighters, pens, wallets, watches and became a leader in high quality leather goods and accessories.
