This striking ashtray showcases a distinctive Fender® pattern with a sleek, glossy black lacquer finish. Its grooves are meticulously detailed with a hand-painted gold finish, adding a luxurious touch that echoes traditional craftsmanship.

In 1872, a 25-year old determined and passionate man from Savoy, France named Simon Tissot-Dupont started a leather goods workshop. He recruited fine craftsmen and artisans who started to manufacture leather goods like wallets and attaché-cases called “maroquins”. Soon he became the official supplier to the Magasins du Louvre, which was a reference to luxury at the time.
The master craftsmen work on the most noble of materials: crocodile skin, gold and silver, ivory, and tortoiseshell. S.T. Dupont becomes supplier to the establishment: kings, emperors, maharajahs, ambassadors, and bankers are its clients.
Since then, Dupont went on to produce lighters, pens, wallets, watches and became a leader in high quality leather goods and accessories.
