The Donetsk Airport became a legendary stronghold of resistance, and its defenders – a symbol of unbreakable spirit. 244 days of fierce defense, 244 days of endurance beyond human limits. They stood, but the concrete did not. It was then that they were called “cyborgs” – warriors who surpassed the boundaries of human resilience.

Today, Ukraine continues its fight for independence, and art becomes another front in this struggle. Inspired by the desire to contribute to Victory, Ukrainian sculptor Andriy Ozyumenko created the monumental composition “Cyborg” – the image of a fearless modern warrior, clad in shining armor, holding high the banner of Victory.

Engraved on his armor are words that embody the indomitable spirit of battle:
glory, power, victory, fight – glory, strength, victory, battle!
